Animal Research Project
Each
student has been assigned an animal. For this project, your child will
need a 1” 3-ring binder and 5 dividers (with pockets, if possible). These materials need to be turned in Wednesday,
April 6. This notebook will contain
all papers for the duration of this assignment.
This
assignment will mainly be worked on at school.
There may be times when work will be brought home (ie:
your child doesn’t use his/her time wisely) or when your child might want
to find information or pictures on the internet.
Please remember that this is your child’s assignment. Each student will find the information on his/her
own with our guidance. We will
have every reference book needed in the classroom for all students to
use. The children will be given 45 minutes to an hour
every day to work on this project, so they should not be bringing any
of this work home for homework. Please use
the links at the bottom of this page for finding information and pictures.
Please
remember these dates:
Research and 15 pictures Due:
April 21
Rough
Draft and the other 15 pictures Due: May
1
Final
Draft and pictures glued to paper with captions Due: May 19
This project will be counted as a test grade for English and
Science. Please feel free to read
over the rough draft and help your child correct final mistakes, but please
remember that this needs to reflect what your child is capable of doing. Let us know if you have any questions.
