Recently, my wife and I moved from South Carolina to Maryland. We DO get
snow in SC, but it seldom comes in large quantities. So, for all my folks
back home, here is our first significant snow of January 2005. It was only
about 6-8 inches. The road crews made it a non-issue.

South Carolina because you stay home until

This icicle formed on the corner of
our balcony. I think it eventually
got to be 2.5 feet long.
