The mighty hunter conquers his prey, the tree
of choice.

We live in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C.
corridor. We live in a small overpriced
apartment. We selected a tree that was narrow
enough to fit in our available space.

A family seeking their Christmas Tree.

It is two days after Thanksgiving and the pond
has started to freeze over.

A freezing pond.

|
After you select your tree, you carry it to the
bundlers. They shake your tree with a shaker
machine. Then they put it through this machine.
It ties a string around your tree tightly enough
to keep it from being a sail on top of your vehicle.

After the machine was done with our machine,
it was as small as an umbrella.
|
It was kind of embarrassing to walk down
the road with my tiny tree under my arm.
I kept passing teams of people carrying huge
trees. There I was with my little twig.
|
Here is our tree in its place. See how we didn't
have much room for a fat tree. Our tree was
beautiful and it served its purpose with honor!
