We had the opportunity to visit England for 2 weeks! Part of the time we visited the county
of Cornwall
and it was one of the best experiences we've ever had. If you ever have the
opportunity to travel overseas, do it!
We took plenty of pictures, so sit back and enjoy the show. (You might even
learn something!)
We flew into Heathrow Airport. This is the Avis
car rental. If you can, enlarge the picture and
look at the license plates. They do not designate
an area where people live. Each car's number
is registered and can be found if needed.
Sheep farms are everywhere in the area that we
visited. These happen to live in fields that are
across the street from Stonehenge.

All around Stonehenge are burial mounds.
Behind, or in these woods, is another henge
called Woodhenge. This henge was made of
wood (obviously) and archeologists found the
holes of the large pillars and plan on allowing
visitors to see this site one day as well.
Can you believe that this was build by people
around 2950 BC????? Fantastic!

The two stones on the left show how the weather
and people have treated them. Villagers over
the years chiseled off pieces of the stones
for their homes.

Here we are! Hopefully you can't tell how
exhausted we are after an overnight 6 hour flight!
