This is a model of a set of satellites that orbit
the Earth and allow NASA to communicate
with the space shuttle without interruption.

space shuttle Columbia.

When the astronauts returned from the moon,
NASA quarantined them for 3 days to make
sure they had not contracted any strange alien
diseases. After two or three missions, this
precaution was abandoned.
