The model used in "Close Encounters of the
Third Kind" It is made of a lot of model
train kits. There is a scavenger hunt list of
things you can search for. I saw a bi-plane
and a VW bus.

The home base of the Pathfinder robot that
landed on Mars. Pathfinder was a
proof-of-concept mission to show that we
could perform such
missions on the planet.
Since it worked,
NASA launched Spirit
and Opportunity. I was
scheduled
to watch the Opportunity launch. My
wife bought me tickets for our Anniversary.
Unfortunately, the launch was postponed
several times and I missed it. At Cape
Kennedy, a rocket launch ticket costs as much
as two hamburgers and drinks.
